— About

Nadia Hindu High School, Lohardaga, has a rich history dating back to 1931, during the British rule in India. Initially known as the District School, it has now been officially declared as a District School by the Jharkhand

Government. The school's journey to becoming a senior secondary institution began in 1983-84, during the time when Jharkhand was a part of Bihar. However, due to the shortage of teachers and disparities in the teacher recruitment process, the senior secondary classes faced setbacks. Fortunately, in 2004, with the dedicated efforts of the Jharkhand senior secondary government, the senior secondary classes resumed with a comprehensive curriculum comprising three streams and 17 subjects. Notably, the school was previously under the jurisdiction of the Jharkhand Academic Council, Ranchi, but from the current academic session, it has attained affiliation from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and follows the CBSE pattern.
